her the sandal to chew on.
We're back. We had a wonderful time. Everyone should go to Hawaii at least once! On Oahu we had quite a bit of rain, but it was always warm and it always stopped. We saw a few rainbows too. Even though we didn't see a lot of sun, I somehow managed to sunburn my eyelids and the top of my feet. Duh! We went snorkeling on both islands. Kami got seasick in Maui. She also got to see dolphins and whales, so the seasickness was worth it! Rich and I took the road to Hana. The first time we tried it, it was raining and we were a little nervous. The second time was a sunny day and the scenery was beautiful. The road was still a little -no, a lot, scarey! There were a few mudslides along the way. We turned around when we saw that the wall was washed out past Hana. You never know if a car is coming around the corner or not. Our hotel was only 1 block from the beach. We were just a mile down the road from Jack and Carol. When we sat on the beach we could see whales spouting. It was so awesome! Another nice thing about vacations is no cooking and no cleaning! 10 days seems like 2 when your on vacation. I would go back right now if someone would pay for it. :) Any offers? Oh well, it's something to work for and look forward to doing again.

We will have to keep taking our imaginary trips...at least until we can open the pools.
