Memorial Day weekend

All weekends should be four days!!! We had a great one at the cabin! Trevor and Anna came on Friday and stayed overnight. Kyle came on Saturday for a couple of hours. Mom and Dad and Dylan came on Saturday and stayed until Monday. Kami and Dylan learned to row the row boat. They tried fishing, but didn't have any luck. Dad and Rich worked on a few projects. I got some tomatoes planted. I played in the kitchen and baked bread (frozen) and apple pie(also frozen). It's fun to have a kitchen when your camping. We had campfires and smores. Annie enjoyed sneaking off to the cow pasture and the pond. For wildlife we saw a few turtles, birds, the pond muskrat, and a deer ran through the yard. I should say ran and hopped through, she seemed to have a broken front leg. On Monday Rich and Kami tried rafting down th creek. We also took a drive to St Ansgar and had a picnic (Kami wanted me to use my picnic basket). We went to Severson's fort, an old fort that was later used as a stage couch stop between Rochester and Kansas City. A totally fun vacation.
